I was riding towards a bigger section of rocks with a complicated rigid line up thinking about the bike.

“This bike is like a cadillac. no. that’s way wrong. not even close. this bike is so… American. That sounds right.”

Got distracted in thought. Lost the line. Couldn’t restart.

Unclipped and ran up and remembered to keep my brain present and not wandering.

I like MTB because focus is needed the whole time. Everything is always changing.

You don’t always know what’s around the corner or down that next section of rocks.
