#TSEpic Stage 5 or 8 who even knows? Can not possibly explain what a thrilling and sincere battle I had with seasoned rider Bryna from @barkermountainbikes , enjoyed it to the very last spicy drop as I shredded every last bit of effort I had to hold onto 3rd and utterly failed 🙃. 5 days of stages and we both came down to 11 hours 59 minutes, this climbing queen beat me by a matter of 20 seconds, hats off!! That said, my only thought crossing the finish line got to be "OMG MOM OMG DAD" as my sweet parents were waiting and cheering at the finish. Goddamn I am #blessedchild . #TSEpic Stage 4 been done! Had a great start chasing @sweethammerbikes 's pink tush until I made the strategic decision to reel it in and settling into my tempo. Felt happy and strong and was busy fighting to keep 5th away when I came upon the GC leader @looneysonya with a broken frame 😭! Despite her misfortune she cheered me on to a 3rd place finish. She was able to borrow a spectators bike to finish the stage, landing me in 4th in the GC going into the final day. 5th is only 4 minutes back and a WICKED strong climber so I know it's going to be a spicy day out there, can't wait! #TSEpic Stage 3 is the Tussey 'Queen Stage' and even with the sad exclusion of the favorite John Wert trail, truly lived up to its name. With rough sleep, muscle soreness, and menstral cramps I woke up dreading the day but managed to turn a corner moments before the start to end up having my (so far!) most fun and smart race, pacing myself and getting into a real groove on climbs, descents, and rock gardens. Even got to stop for a quick beer before the longest Enduro section thanks to @hvbeer and the enthusiastic volunteers up on the ridge! So glad to finally have my bud @trmudge out here shredding, too.
