Sterling: Rails To Trails: SF/ Bay Area Update

Our homie Jorge will be in SF / Bay Area for work *** Helping spread the message of turning abandoned railways into trails.

FRIDAY THE 7th

“On Friday, April 7th we’ll be hosting some friends from the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy @railstotrails and we would love for you to join us. For those unfamiliar, they are an awesome organization that advocates the transformation of unused railroad corridors into a network of multi-use trails. The relatively mellow grades make them a perfect way to travel on a fully loaded touring bike without having to worry about automobile traffic. The party will start at 6:30pm and we’ll have great music as usual and even better snacks and beverages to share. You may even win a cool prize! Hope to see you then!”

It was a pleasure to work on Mark's 1984 Specialized Allez. He got it from the original owner with less than 30 miles on it. Keep an eye out for it at Eroica next weekend.
