Cadence Youth Cycling Piscitello Challenge

I think it is safe to say that anyone who is reading this is a cycling enthusiast of some sort. I’d also take a bet on the fact that if you read LDLS something happened in your adolescence that changed your life for the better putting you in the right direction. A punk show, zine, mini ramp session, the first time you saw art you were stoked on…. you get my point. But if you think you got to that crowded grimy basement show on your own your probably forgetting something. Someone got you there. Somebody cared about you. They wanted you to care about something the same way they did. They cared about you when no one else may have, or at least that’s how you may have felt. Think about it. There’s a derel out there that you may have not seen in 25 years that changed your life.

Well, this past week I felt really down and hopeless about how the youth are going to be treated under our so called president. I took a pledge to give back to a organization that will install a serious amount of positive mental attitude into Philly youth. I encourage you to do the same. Please make a commitment. Get your friends together and pitch in. Do It Yourself, because no one else is going to.

Hey can I say that we need $750 dollars more to meet the team challenge? And Jorge put up a 1/4 of it himself? Can we do this? I mean I think we can, but can we?

I guess time will tell if we really support the youth…
