Last Political Thought for a While.
I’ve been listening to NPR Morning Edition today and they’re still amazingly un-self aware and unwilling to take responsibility for what they helped to create by carrying water for the Clintons. (I’m looking at you smug ass David Green. You personally lost my donation this year.)
I understand the rage and the fear caused by the Trump win. It is important to realize who caused this:
Clinton's Pied Piper Strategy (use media contacts to promote Trump) has backfired spectacularly. PDF of our leak: https://t.co/DAmWNq9K0f pic.twitter.com/R49V3TfMXC

The Clinton campaign with the help of a complicit Media propped up Trump as a “Pied Piper” candidate and did everything they could to delegitimize Sanders.
Perhaps you remember when the Washington Post published 16 anti-Sanders pieces over 16 hours? If not take a look.
That’s just one example. The main responsibility for Trump rests on the DNC and related media.
The protests should also be occurring in front of the offices of the Washington Post, NY Times, the Guardian, and other water carriers that enabled the DNC. And at the office of every politician that tried to make this shit happen.
They attempted to pull off the biggest scam in the history of our country and it blew up in our collective face.
Margaret Sullivan covers half the story here:
But stops short of admitting the mainstream left media let themselves become pawns for the Clintons.
For that take you have to move a little further left.
“Excuse me, but at what point during all these protests and identity politics parades did we forget that the Hillary Clinton campaign hand-picked Donald Trump to be her Republican opponent? Is anybody going to pause in the midst of their social media demonstrations of self-righteous outrage to recall that the Pied Piper email released by WikiLeaks clearly shows Clinton campaign staff conspiring with the DNC to use their media leverage to elevate Trump above the other candidates? Are we at some point going to take a breath and acknowledge the fact that, after manipulating the primaries of both parties to ensure a Clinton vs. Trump ticket, the Hillary campaign then started literally paying people to make the public terrified of Trump and his supporters, and that we’re seeing the effects of that fearmongering playing out right now? Or are we still going to try and blame Berners and bigotry for this mess that Hillary Clinton and her goons are solely responsible for creating?”

If no one in the mainstream media wakes up to this the Democrats are doomed from here out.
Abandoning and vilifying the working people and the inner city while focusing on the elite for 25 years has caused this.
Somehow it has to be fixed. Glenn Greenwald of the Intercept covers it better than anyone here.
THE PARALLELS BETWEEN the U.K.’s shocking approval of the Brexit referendum in June and the U.S.’ even more shocking election of Donald Trump as president last night are overwhelming. Elites (outside of populist right-wing circles) aggressively unified across ideological lines in opposition to both. Supporters of Brexit and Trump were continually maligned by the dominant media narrative (validly or otherwise) as primitive, stupid, racist, xenophobic, and irrational. In each case, journalists who spend all day chatting with one another on Twitter and congregating in exclusive social circles in national capitals — constantly re-affirming their own wisdom in an endless feedback loop — were certain of victory. Afterward, the elites whose entitlement to prevail was crushed devoted their energies to blaming everyone they could find except for themselves, while doubling down on their unbridled contempt for those who defied them, steadfastly refusing to examine what drove their insubordination.
The indisputable fact is that prevailing institutions of authority in the West, for decades, have relentlessly and with complete indifference stomped on the economic welfare and social security of hundreds of millions of people. While elite circles gorged themselves on globalism, free trade, Wall Street casino gambling, and endless wars (wars that enriched the perpetrators and sent the poorest and most marginalized to bear all their burdens), they completely ignored the victims of their gluttony, except when those victims piped up a bit too much — when they caused a ruckus — and were then scornfully condemned as troglodytes who were the deserved losers in the glorious, global game of meritocracy.

Tell the Times, Post, NPR and Guardian what they are responsible for. Hold MSNBC, ABC and CNN to the flame. Tell “politifact” and “snopes” where they can go…
Hold them accountable.
They will not hold themselves accountable for anything.
You should be mad. But don’t get played out again. Don’t let them get away with it. Don’t be a pawn. Focus your energy on change.
“Put simply, Democrats knowingly chose to nominate a deeply unpopular, extremely vulnerable, scandal-plagued candidate, who — for very good reason — was widely perceived to be a protector and beneficiary of all the worst components of status quo elite corruption. It’s astonishing that those of us who tried frantically to warn Democrats that nominating Hillary Clinton was a huge and scary gamble — that all empirical evidence showed that she could lose to anyone and Bernie Sanders would be a much stronger candidate, especially in this climate — are now the ones being blamed: by the very same people who insisted on ignoring all that data and nominating her anyway.” GG
or just listen to Tim Black:

Enough on that though. Back to the bikes. That’s what’s we’re about. No matter how fucked up it gets that’s what we have to turn too.
