Monday GS Report
I was going to start off by saying how much it rained here all week and that’s why there isn’t much North East US mileage but then I saw that Mak did 218 miles and I was like damn. Then I noticed he was in Greece and not Philly this week and didn’t feel that bad.
Dan J and Bill A put in pretty similar efforts this week, but Dan put in an extra 4000 feet of going uphill. Dan also did a 90 mile ride taking the top spot for “longest ride”. Cholle B of Utrecht and Sven of Barcelona did 66 and 60 miles respectively. Very nice to see our European members on the board.
Adam S takes the climbing award with 16K. Bill A finishes it off at 7.4K
I noted the lack of East Coast participation this week already but I will use the “horrible weather card” and the “it was mother’s day the one day it wasn’t raining card.” to try and get us out of this.
So we had a fairly diverse showing in the top 10 this week.
Philadelphia and SF both had 3 riders in the top 10.
But…Ryan F was the only one putting miles in in Philadelphia
So
G.S. San Francisco is awarded the coveted City Award.
