Here’s a good ad.
Better get to Albert B’s house stat. A toolset like this is something I’ve wanted since I heard rumors of its existence in my early messenger days. You just had to imagine what it looked like. Couldn’t do a quick image search to see it. This whole ad has the feel of that time. The solid/vague description of the kits, calling the owner by his full name with the assumption you know who that is and if you don’t you’re clueless, no pictures. Great stuff. You can almost imagine the smirk the author has. Refreshing.
Old bike dudes. So awesome and cranky.
side note: I was real jealous when Simon showed us his set that he got from Hill Cycle. Well not exactly jealous, maybe I had some envy, just like “woah, that is so cool you have that. damn.”
and this dude is selling some shit in Manhattan:
prices are realistic not cheap. I wonder how this goes.
