Recently my neighbor, a police officer, walked into the strongly anti-establishment atmosphere of Chill Cycle. “Yo Dan, what do you do in here? Do you actually fix bikes?”. “Yea??” I respond wearily, if there’s one thing any legit bike shop dislikes it’s customers with questions…..”I got my father in law’s 10 speed in my basement, you think you could tune it up for me?” Great a 10 speed, my other neighbor had just layed a Schwinn Traveler on me the day before. “Sure, I’ll take a look”, I agree…..here’s what he pulls out…..

A 60′s? (please correct me if you know better) chrome Crescent with Nervex lugs and most of a Campy kit on it. The wheel set has been replaced, and it’s had some suntour bar end shifters put on it, but overall this thing is super cool. What a surprise! Cleaned up and tuned up pics coming soon…
