Colnago Italia ’90 MTB mystery continues

So I really put this bike out there creating a thread on the Bike Forum Vintage Forum hoping some master (get it?) Colnago nerd would appear and post:

“Oh of course, Security Bike for rent-a-cops @ the ’90 World Cup, there was only 20 made.”

or something equally as interesting.

The only poster on there that offered any actual insight was “T-Mar” who got us closer to the mid 80’s vintage. Which would match the copyright on the sticker pictured here.

Everyone else gave the worst kind of insight ever, the “I have no insight but I have to comment” insight .
